The Fantabulous BFG by Roald Dahl

This is a short version of the BFG, it follows the story Sophie and her friend the BFG.  It includes quizzes, stickers and colouring in pages.

I enjoyed reading this version of the BFG because it was shorter and fun to read as well as being funny.    I would recommend this book to Poppy.

Destiny the Pop Star Fairy by Daisy Meadows

This story is about a fairy called Destiny.  When Jack Frost steals three magic items all the pop group called the angels can’t perform anymore.  Kirsty and Rachel join forces with Destiny to help find the missing magic items.

I like that this story had a sad beginning but that it had a happy ending.  I enjoy reading stories about Kirsty and Rachel and their fairy friends.

I would recommend this book to Yasmin because she likes music.
