Term 5 is here and so is the Summer term! Where has the year gone? 

We have some really exciting things to look forward to in this very short, fun term! We have SATS week beginning on the 12th May, where our Eagles will be invited in for SATS breakfast before completing their tests in the mornings. The week will be filled with lots of fun revision type learning before a treat day on the Friday - watch this space!  

We will be beginning our Crime and Punishment topic this term in History which will continue to the end of the school year - a very exciting topic where our Eagles get to explore crime and punishment through the ages from the Romans, all the way through to the modern day. 

PE days will be on Wednesdays and Fridays. We will be doing cricket and dance this term. On Wednesday 21st May, our Eagles will perform in the RLT Dance Show and perform their dance to a large audience of parents - this is always set to be a fantastic and exciting trip. More details to follow shortly! 

In our core subjects this term, we will be reading Holes - a fantastic book - with many opportunities to write for a range of purposes in our English lessons. In Maths we will be exploring statistics and spending time consolidating on all the topics we have explored so far in this academic year. 

This term is also super exciting as we will begin to look at our end of year play, once SATS is out the way, we will read the script and audition for parts. We will have National Numeracy Day and many other exciting things planned. 

It is set to be very jam-packed!!
