Welcome back to term 4. I can't believe we are now 1/2 of the way through the school year - where has the time gone? This term is going to be a jam-packed with lots of new learning to be done. Here is an overview of what we will be getting up to in Kingfishers.

In Science, we are looking at plants, planting seeds and bulbs and looking at what they need to grow and how we can help them. We will need to get our GREEN FINGERS ready.

We are becoming Antarctic explorers in History this term, looking at perilous journeys and the voyage of Shackleton and his team then comparing this with Polar Preet and how different her experience was. 

In Maths, we will continue with multiplication and division as well as looking at length and height, mass capacity and temperature reading.

In English our book this term is Grandad's Island where we will go on the adventure with the characters and look at using poetry to helps us describe some aspects. As well as creating a report on the journey.

In RE, we will be answering our big question - Why does Easter matter to Christians? We will investigate what Easter means to Christians and how and why it is celebrated. 

PSHE - this term is all about bullying, what it is and how we can stop it and how we can be kinder to each other and ourselves.

In Enrichment this term, we will be exploring the different apps we can use to help with our learning (whilst also having fun on the ipads).

PE in Term 4 will continue to be on a Wednesday. with Tag Rugby being the focus.

Music - Kingfishers will be looking at Pentatonic Music this term with Ms Hatton
