Term 6
Nurturing Nature!
In Science...
Our big enquiry question will be 'What do plants need to function, growth, and live?' We will build on our learning from Year 1 and Year 2 and we will identify and describe the functions of different parts of flowering plants. We will then explore the requirements of plants for life and growth. Finally, we will explore the part that flowers play in the life cycle of flowering plants.
In Maths...
We will continue our Maths journey throughout the term beginning with looking at Mass before moving on to look at time and capacity. In the final weeks of term, we will go back and revise the four operations so that we are ready to move into year 4.

They will experience small-sided and modified competitive striking/fielding games using simple tactics and applying simple rules and conventions.

We will also look at E-safety and how to use technology safely, and respectfully and recognize acceptable behavior.
In Geography...
We will be completing our fieldwork this term. We will be going around Ketton with maps and making observational drawings of the village to record our findings.
