Happy New Year Kestrels! Welcome to 2024! I can't believe it is Term 3 already! We have another busy term coming up but it promises to be a good one.

In English we will be using the story The Iron Man by Ted Hughes to write a threat narrative and as the stimulus for an explanation text. In Maths we will continue with our multiplication and division focus followed by units on money and statistics

In History we will be beginning our Key Stage 2 journey through British history by learning about life in the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. We will be attempting to draw together evidence to answer the question "Would you rather live in the Stone Age, Bronze Age or Iron Age?" To complement our learning in History and build on our learning in Geography about mountains, in Science we will be focusing on the properties of rocks and soils. 

In Art we are going to be printing and in R.E. we will be answering the question "What does it mean to be a Hindu in Britain today?"

In term 3 our P.E. days have changed to a Monday and a Tuesday.
