Welcome back to Term 3 and a Happy New Year to you all.

This term we will be thinking all about People Who Help Us. We will think about people who help us in school as well as people who help us in the wider community. We hope to have some special visitors into school too who can tell us all about the work that they do. Later in the term we will also think about Chinese New Year and learn about how this is celebrated.

We will continue to have PE with Mr Andre on a Wednesday and we are also lucky to have a Dance teacher from Welland Academy working with us on a Friday morning this term.

In our phonics lessons we will continue blending the sounds we have learnt to help us read and write simple words and we will continue to learn more red words which we be added to the key rings in your child’s book bags. We will also begin to learn Set 2 sounds and these sounds will be added to the yellow book as the children learn them. Continuing to practice these at home will be invaluable. Thank you for your support with this so far.
