Welcome to Term 4. It is another busy one!

Our main topic this term is a Science based one. We will be answering the question Are all animals the same? Our learning will start with a trip to Wing Farm to see the animals that live there. We will then go on to look at how scientists classify and sort animals into different groups and we will look at the diets of animals.

In English our learning will be based on the story Where the Wild Things Are. We will use this book as the inspiration for two pieces of writing. The first will be a portal narrative which uses the structure of the story we have shared and the second will be a factfile about a Wild Thing. 

In Maths we will continue using the numbers to 20 to add and subtract before looking at the place value of the numbers up to 50. We will finish the term off with a unit on measures.

P.E. this term continues to be on a Thursday and a Friday as we are having the dance teacher again this term.
