Oceania

This week we are travelling to Oceania!

Oceania includes Australia, New Zealand and many other island countries.

My challenge this week is to learn the Haka! The Haka is a famous tribal dance. It is part of the Maori warrior culture of New Zealand. The New Zealand All Black rugby team, perform it to their opponents before their matches. Why do you think they do this?

Watch the videos. Listen carefully to the instructions. Practise. When you're ready, perform your Haka in front of the mirror, your family at home or send a video of your dance to your class dojo!

Have fun!
