Dear Parents/Carers,

Please see some ideas for different activities you can do with your child whilst they are learning from home. Please try to include Maths, Phonics, Reading and Writing activities in your daily routine. However I would advise spending no more than 20 minutes on each focus area at a time. I will upload a brief plan of what our day in school would look like. Please use this to help structure your day should you wish. It is not a rigid timetable that you have to follow.

 

As well as the core activities above, your child learns through play so talk to them about what they are doing, why they have selected that activity and what they might do next. 

Please continue to practice letter and number formation using the guidance in the blue books in your children's book bags.
