This week's challenge is to make a Time Capsule!

What you need:

• A glass jar or tin with a lid (biscuit tins will work)
• Craft material (labels, ribbons, pens, paints)
• Items to put in your time capsule

 

Method

• Select or create items to go into your time capsule (artwork, hand-print, photographs, quotes, a favourite item that you don’t need anymore, a letter to yourself)
• Decorate and label your timetable how you wish
• Place your items inside
• Seal it carefully so no water or soil can get in
• Dig a small hole (ask an adult to help)
• Bury your time capsule
• Dig it back up in a few years time
